OTHER STUFF ABOUT ME:

I was born in August 1972 and grew up in Ocean City, NJ.   I earned an A.B. from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine in Mathematics and Economics in 1994.  After finishing college, I entered into the PhD program in biostatistics at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.  My thesis work was done with advisor Scott Zeger in latent class model graphical diagnostic methods.   I was supported by a training grant from the NIMH, which allowed me to become involved in several projects with the Mental Hygiene Department at Hopkins during my studies.  I finished my PhD in February of 2000 and began working in the Oncology Biostatistics Division of the Hopkins Cancer Center shortly after.

I live in Ruxton, Maryland with my husband Jeff, our son Garrett, and our two dogs Luke and Wilma.   My interests outside of biostatistics range from reading, cooking, and knitting to travel and Pilates.

I would not call myself a photographer, but I do have lots of pictures!
